ShowCycle, a Salesforce-native event management platform, was chosen by WDS for its breadth of features, flexibility through configuration, and strong foundation on Salesforce. This ensured that every requirement could be addressed directly through configuration, with no bespoke customization required.

All booth sales, inventory tracking, and floorplan management were handled inside ShowCycle. Because ShowCycle is natively built on Salesforce, no integration with external systems was necessary. Operations were streamlined and data remained in one place, creating a single source of truth.

The 4 exhibition halls and outdoor space were fully managed in ShowCycle. Each floor, such as ground and mezzanine, was mapped as a distinct but linked layer within the platform. Booths that spanned multiple levels were connected visually and logically, ensuring accuracy in both assignment and reporting. CAD files were easily imported and synchronized, keeping physical layouts and digital records in alignment.

The show management team was able to add, edit, split, or merge booths, mark entrances and non-exhibit areas, assign booths to exhibitors, and manage reservations—all within one interface. Inventory was updated in real time, and bulk operations enabled large changes to be implemented quickly.

Floorplans could be tailored through configurable color schemes, transparency settings, and visual markers to improve clarity for staff and exhibitors. Reporting dashboards provided immediate insight into sales, occupancy, and booth utilization, giving management the ability to make informed decisions throughout the event cycle.

Because ShowCycle is built on Salesforce, it inherits Salesforce’s globally recognized security framework. As a result, the platform passed WDS’s stringent security review requirements without modification.
